Case Study: KOL Marble and Granite’s
The Challenge
KOL Marble and Granite is a family-owned, natural stone countertop company in New Jersey with a great reputation. They wanted to expand their business, but their old website was outdated and lacked information, their PPC campaigns felt like a waste of their $500 per week budget, and their web traffic never led to any sales.
What they wanted was see real-world results from their online marketing efforts, but they didn’t know where they were missing the mark.
Our Solution
We took over the management of their digital marketing campaigns, from website to social media to PPC advertising, using a two-part strategy:
SEO Focused Website
First, build a modern and professional website that will
impress visitors and drive conversions. Using clean design and adding more SEO related content, our team made the website easier to navigate, easier to find on search engines, and easier for the business owner to showcase what makes their company unique.
Lead Generation
Second, add tracking to every piece of the campaign to follow the customer journey and find the missing link that would convert site visitors into an actual sale. We connected analytics, reporting software, and a lead generation platform that can set up a drip campaign to follow up with leads and calls that business owners receive from their ads and website.
The Results
Within three months of their new website launch, our PPC campaigns and SEO efforts really seemed to be paying off for KOL Marble and Granite.
In the month of August 2020, they received 234 requests for directions, 200 calls and 403 website visits from local search results, and 561 clicks and 132 calls from their Google Ads. That’s a lot of engagement! All of that was achieved using a little less than their previous monthly budget, which had been giving them such lackluster results before their new website design boosted their digital marketing to new heights.
With local search (unpaid) and Google Ads (paid), the combined efforts of optimizing the website for users and search engines increased quality scores and SERP rankings, which is all a fancy way of saying that they’re now able to show up for the people looking to buy from them!
